During the last fives years from 1998-2003, 68 cases of esophageal cancer were treated at the Hue central hospital. The mean age was 65, arrange from 4593. Most of patients were hospitalized in the terminal stage, in which the surgical procedure could not be achieved. 25 patients with terminal stage of esophageal cancer were treated by esophageal endoprothese. We present here the technic and the initial results of this technic. This method help improving the quality of life of the patients. There are no complications.
