Hiện nay có nhiều bàn cãi trong điều trị carcinôm biệt hóa của tuyến giáp về mức độ rộng của phẫu thuật, chỉ định Iod phóng xạ và liệu pháp kích tố đè nén sau mổ. Có nhiều yếu tố dự hậu được biết và sử dụng để phân loại bệnh nhân theo nguy cơ tái phát. Điều này giúp lựa chọn điều trị hợp lý, tránh được các điều trị không cần thiết và làm giảm biến chứng mà không ảnh hưởng đến kết quả điều trị sau cùng. Ngoài ra cũng có nhiều liệu pháp mới đang được thử nghiệm trong điều trị carcinôm biệt hóa của tuyến giáp
Abstract
Nowadays, a number of controversies exist in the treatment of differentiated thyroid carcinoma with respect of the extent surgery, use of radioactive iodine and postoperative thyroxine suppression. Recent recognition of pronostic factors has helped to assign patients, base on the risk profile, as being at high risk of developing recurrence. This has facilitated the development of a selective approach to therapy, this, avoid unnecessary treatment and reducing morbidity without compromising outcome. Besides several novel approaches are currently being tested for the treatment of differentiated thyroid carcinoma.
