THE RESULT OF REPAIRING VESICOVAGINAL FISTULA BY MARTIUS'S LAPIAL FAT PAD INTERPOSITION

Mục tiêu: Đánh giá kết quả phẫu thuật vá rò bàng quang - âm đạo theo phương pháp Martius'sPhương pháp nghiên cứu: Trong giai đoạn 2005 đến 2010, tổng kết 15 bệnh nhân được phẫu thuật vá rò bàng quang âm đạo. Kết quả: Thành công phẫu thuật chiếm lệ 86,67% (13/15 bệnh nhân). Trong hai bệnh nhân thất bại; 01 bệnh nhân đựơc phẫu thậut lại qua ngã bụng; 01 bệnh nhân từ chối phẫu thuậtKết luận: phẫu thuật vá rò bàng quang - âm đạo theophương pháp Martius's đơn giản, an toàn và hiệu quả.
Abstract
Purpose: To assess the results of Martius' labial fat pad interposition for repairing vesicovaginal fistula.Materials and methods: Since 2005 to 2010. A total of 15 patients were included in this study. We studied: operation time, complication, hospital stay, foley catheter duration and recurrence during the follow-up.Results: A total of 15 patients were included in this study. Two patients had large fistula following irradiation therapy; another 4 had fistula above ureteral ridge; the other 9 had fistula under ureteral ridge. Fistulas were successfully repaired in 13 of 15 patients (86.67%). In two failure patients, one was later successfully repaired transabdominal approach, another refused to do operation. Mean operative time was 105 minutes (range 90 to 180 minutes) and no complication. Mean hospital stay was 6 days. Mean follow-up was 25.5 monthsConclusion: On the basis of our and literature review; we believe that vesicovaginal fistula repair using Martius' labial fat is feasible, safe and effective.
