EVALUATING RESULT OF SURGERY TO ATTACH ACRYLIC ORBITAL IMPLANTS

Mục đích: Đánh giá về mặt thẩm mỹ và dung nạp của phẫu thuật cắt bỏ nhãn cầu đặt implant hốc mắt chất liệu acrylic sản xuất tại viện mắt TP. Hồ Chí Minh
Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu tiền cứu, can thiệp, không so sánh trên hàng loạt ca liên tục đặt inplant hốc mắt chất liệu acrylic sau phẫu thuật cắt bỏ nhãn cầu, trong thời gian từ 1/3/2004 đến 31/3/2005. Trên 73 ca, có 56 nam,17 nữ. Các biến số được khảo sát bao gồm: tuổi, giới, nguyên nhân gây bệnh, lý do và thời gian đi tới phẫu thuật, các biến chứng của phẫu thuật, kết quả thẩm mỹ, kết quả dung nạp
Kết quả: 12/73(16,4%) ca có biến chứng trong mổ.2/73(2,7%) có biến chứng hậu phẫu. 11/73 ca(15%) có biến chứng sau lắp mắt giả. Kết quả thẩm mỹ sau 1năm: tốt: 83%, trung bình: 13%, xấu:4%. Kết quả dung nạp: không có ca nào đẩy và dọa đẩy
Kết luận: Phẫu thuật cắt bỏ nhãn cầu gắn cơ vào implant hốc mắt chất liệu acrylic dễ dàng thực hiện, khả năng dung nạp tốt, đạt kết quả thẩm mỹ nhât định. Tạo vẻ có hồn cho lắp mắt giả sau này
Abstract
Purpose: To evaluate aesthetics and tolerance of surgery to attach the acrylic orbital implants, manufactured at the hospital of hcm city
Methods: A series of retrospective, interventional, noncomparative, consecutive cases of acrylic implant placement after surgical enucleation. Acrylic implants were placed in 73 patiens, including 17 women and 56 men, mean age was 35 years old (17-to-68 groupage). Parameters considered included: age, sex, pathogen, time for deciding operation, complications as well as results of aesthetic and tolerance.
Results: Complications had been documented in 12/73(16.4%) cases of surgery, 2/73(2.7%)cases of postoperation and 11/73(15%)cases of post-implantation's artificial eyes. Results of aesthetic after 1 year:there are not any implant exposure
